Being boring is not something you would associate an Australian team with and they will certainly pull out all the stops to 'entertain' when they tackle the Barbarians at Twickenham on Saturday.

The BaaBaas are famous for their expansive game and their clashes against international teams have become the source of lore and legend.

Now the Tri-Nations champions, the Wallabies, want to write their own chapter in this ongoing saga.

Wallaby scrumhalf Will Genia, addressing the media in London, said they are determined to put on a "spectacle" for the expected 50,000-strong crowd.

"It is all about the spectacle - it is all about playing entertaining rugby," Genia said.

"We don't want people walking away thinking it was boring and that it did not live up to the hype.

"We are going to go out there and enjoy ourselves."

Genia will not have his usual halfback partner, the injured Quade Cooper, by his side this week, but he feels that James O'Connor - set to move from the wing to start at No.10.

"He can play [an expansive game] - he has shown that in Super Rugby," Genia said of the possibility of O'Connor moving closer to the action.

"He really wants the opportunity and hopefully Robbie gives it to him."

The Wallabies have the best record of any international team against the Barbarians, having won eight of their 11 meetings.

The invitational side has chalked up the scalps of the All Blacks (2009) and South Africa (2010) in the past two years.
