Toby Flood could be in contention for England's second Six Nations fixture in Italy after being named on the bench for Leicester this weekend.
Flood, who has been sidelined since New Year's Day with a knee ligament injury, is primed to make his comeback in the Tigers' LV= Cup match against Newcastle.
England interim coach Stuart Lancaster has told Flood he must prove his fitness in a club game before he will be considered for an international recall.
