Huget: Crosses for one of his tries

Les Bleus ran in five tries, including two from winger Yoann Huget, with 19 points coming from the boot of fly-half Frederic Michalak.

The emphatic victory was France's first win in Argentina since 1998 and ensured the two-match series finished level following last weekend's 23-20 triumph for the hosts in Cordoba.

The French headed into the game having lost eight of the last 11 meetings with the Argentinians, and looked determined to turn the tables from the outset.

The tourists led 30-3 at the break thanks to tries from winger Benjamin Fall, Huget and debutant scrum-half Maxime Machenaud, with Michalak converting all three and adding three penalties.

The hosts' only first-half points came courtesy of a penalty from 34-year-old centre Felipe Contepomi, winning his 77th cap and playing his last game as captain.

The largely one-way traffic continued after the interval as centre Maxime Mermoz, Huget and flanker Alexandre Lapandry touched down - Michalak adding the extras for two of them - before Contepomi converted a late try by flanker Tomas de la Vega to give the scoreline a semblance of respectability.
