The Pacific Islanders produced the shock of the autumn internationals so far when they upset the Six Nations champions 26-19 in Cardiff last weekend.
That has put France, who have beaten Australia and Argentina in the past fortnight, on high alert as they look to defend their place inside the top four of the IRB's world rankings.
With the seedings for the World Cup set to be decided next month retaining their place is set to ensure Les Bleus avoid the southern hemisphere super powers in the group stage.
"This is a game with stakes that can have big consequences," Szarzewski, who is set to start on the bench, told reporters.
"A win or a loss for either team can change things greatly.
"We want to put together a series of Test wins with a great performances. We don't want to hear again that we won a couple of games but were not able to get three in a row.
"That will be difficult against Samoa because they are very strong at the point of contact.
"They dominated Wales at the breakdown. Their game is changing and becoming more comprehensive.
"They are dangerous everywhere and we have to be focused."
Samoa themselves arrive in the French capital looking to boost their World Cup seeding and break into the world's top eight.
At present they sit ninth in the rankings but could move ahead of Wales with the out-of-sorts principality facing the daunting prospect of New Zealand and Australia in their next two games.
Samoa can take heart after France lost to fellow Pacific Islanders Tonga at last year's World Cup, however, their last visit to the Stade de France ended in a 43-5 thumping three years ago.
The Samoans will also offer less of a mystery to the French with star names Census Johnston, Ti'i Paulo and Joe Tekori all regulars in the Top 14.
Samoa will be without Stade Francais centre Paul Williams, who suffered a cheek injury against Wales, as one of four changes.
Full-back Faatoina Autagaraia (hand), Dan Leo (knee) and Ole Avei make way Robert Lilomaiara, Joe Tekori and Paulo.
France boss Philippe Saint-Andre has made three changes with Szarzewski and Yannick Forestier dropping out of the front row for Benjamin Keyser and Thomas Domingo.
