Benetton Treviso loose forward Manoa Vosawai has been given a one-week ban after having accumulated three yellow cards in the Pro12 this season.

An independent Pro12 disciplinary committee, chaired by Robert Williams, assisted by Russell Howell and Roger Morris (all Wales), having listened to the player's explanation of the three yellow cards, imposed the suspension.

In deciding to impose a suspension, the committee noted that all three yellow cards had been given for technical offences following general warnings by the referee but also noted the player's previous record for similar offences.
