All Blacks captain Richie McCaw is fit and ready, while coach Graham Henry has made three changes to the side for the World Cup semifinal against Australia at Eden Park on Sunday.

Aaron Cruden has been named at flyhalf, Israel Dagg at fullback and Richard Kahui returns to the wing.

Cruden is the All Blacks' third flyhalf of the World Cup after tournament-ending injuries to Dan Carter and Colin Slade.

Dagg returns from injury to replace injured Mils Muliaina at fullback, while Kahui ousts Sonny Bill Williams on the left wing.

Andy Ellis and Stephen Donald were chosen among the replacements.

"We have been building slowly this week to be ready for Sunday when we know there will need to be a further lift in intensity and physicality," Henry said.

"It's a semifinal in the Rugby World Cup and the team is excited by the challenge that lies ahead."
