Louw the Bok bolter

Published: Wednesday, 12. September, 2012 in category New Zealand

The inclusion of Francois Louw is the most significant change to the Springbok team for their encounter with the All Black.

Louw, named in place of Marcell Coetzee, who drops down to the replacement bench, will start a Test for South Africa the first time in more than two years.

His last five appearances, including last week's 19-26 loss to Australia in Perth last week, were all off the bench. Louw's last start was also against New Zealand, in a Tri-Nations game in Wellington back in July 2010.

The other change to the starting XV is at lock, where Flip van der Merwe comes in for the suspended Eben Etzebeth.
