New Zealand have made ten changes since their last outing for their opening autumn international clash against Scotland at Murrayfield, with Dan Carter saying they'll be looking for a much-improved display.
Carter says the All Blacks are still seething after missing out on a record-equalling 17th successive win when being held to an 18-18 draw by Australia - who also stopped their rivals scoring a try for the first time since August 2004, a run of 105 fixtures.
New Zealand are unbeaten in November Tests in Europe since 2002 while Scotland are seeking a first victory over the All Blacks at the 29th attempt, dating back 107 years, and Carter says the visitors have barely looked at their opposition.
"This game it's more about us," Carter said. "We haven't looked at the opposition, Scotland, all that much this week. We're really wanting to focus on our performance so we walk off the pitch at the end of the 80 minutes and be really happy with the performance.
"I haven't even seen Scotland's starting line-up or who's playing this week. I've got certain things that I want to get out of this game, more on a personal and team basis, than looking too much at the opponents."
Openside flanker Richie McCaw starts in a back-row comprising Adam Thomson and Victor Vito, with Wyatt Crockett, Andrew Hore and Owen Franks forming the front row, and Luke Romano and Sam Whitelock at lock.
Three players with fewer than 10 caps complete the back line, wing Julian Savea and centres Tamati Ellison and Ben Smith.
When New Zealand do study the Scotland team, they will see Richie Gray has been passed fit from an ankle injury as Andy Robinson makes five changes from the side which finished an unbeaten summer tour with victory over Samoa.
Centre Nick De Luca and scrum-half Mike Blair come in for injured pair Joe Ansbro andChris Cusiter, while in the pack Euan Murray, Alastair Kellock and Richie Vernon make way for Geoff Cross, Jim Hamilton and Kelly Brown, who captains the side for the first time on his 50th appearance.
