Tonga will bring together players based in 10 countries to compile its squad for next month's Pacific Nations Cup rugby tournament.
The 28-man squad named on Tuesday by head coach Toutai Kefu includes players based in Tonga, Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Japan and Romania.
Tonga's World Cup captain, 34-year-old Finau Maka is not among the squad for the four-nation Pacific tournament in Japan and Fiji from June 5 to June 23.
The squad includes veterans Alaska Taufa and Fetu'u Vainikolo on the wings, Taniela Moa at scrumhalf, Kisi Pulu at prop and Japan-based Kurt Morath at flyhalf.
