Bradley: Named 15-man squad

Edinburgh backs Tom Brown and Matt Scott and Glasgow hooker Pat MacArthur have also been brought in for the game, which takes place at Netherdale next Friday night.

New head coach Michael Bradley has named an initial squad of 15 players who will convene for training at Murrayfield on Monday before being supplemented by members of the full Scotland squad.

Glasgow Warriors provide most of the squad with Peter Murchie, Henry Pyrgos, Colin Shaw, Johnnie Beattie, Chris Fusaro, Ryan Grant and Ryan Wilson all joining MacArthur.

There are three exiles in all, including Bath's Jack Cuthbert and Alex Grove of Worcester, while Edinburgh head coach Bradley has also selected Stuart McInally and Roddy Grant from his Heineken Cup quarter-finalists.

Former Ireland A head coach Bradley told the Scotland Rugby Team website: "There's a great opportunity for our players to come together and prove they have what it takes to win on the international stage for Scotland, benefiting from the support of what I'm sure will be a terrific crowd.

"We've named a group of guys today who deserve recognition for the form they've shown with their clubs in the first part of the season."

Scotland A are looking for their fifth consecutive win in Galashiels, with admission again free for fans.
