In Rugby World Cup 2011 Paul played in three of four matches, averaged seven tackles per game, and scored the Eagles' only try in their match against Ireland on a pass intercept. The 31 year old from Northern Iowa University was a member of the Collegiate All-American team from 2001-2003, has been capped 47 times in fifteens, and has also represented the USA with the Sevens team.

Paul's play during Rugby World Cup 2011 was inspiring for his teammates and his country alike; offensively he made numerous line breaks with his ferocious running style and on defense he constantly punished ball-carriers that came his way. This inspirational play has led to his nomination for the Athlete of the Month.

The poll finishes at 5:00 PM on October 5 so spread the word and let's show the Olympic Community how strong rugby's support is!
