Biller Jumps Pond to Bath

U.S. international Chris Biller has jumped the pond to sign a short term loan with Bath of the Aviva Premiership. The former Cal Berkeley hooker has 16 caps with the Eagles.

"We've been unlucky with injuries, but to have someone of Chris' ability available to us is great," director of rugby Sir Ian McGeechan told the club website.

Bath has seen injuries to Lee Mears, Ross Batty and Pieter Dixon and are struggling after 9 games of the campaign. The currently sit in 9th place on the table.

McGeechan added: "He's a good strong player, who has played to a very high level, and we're looking forward to him adding to the experience we have within the squad."

Biller started for the Red, White and Blue in their one win at the 2011 tournament, a 13-6 success over Russia. He was playing with San Francisco Golden Gate prior to making the move to Bath.
