Wales great Gareth Edwards believes Sam Warburton has put himself firmly back in the picture for British and Irish Lions selection.
Warburton was outstanding on his return to the side as Wales kept their hopes of winning the RBS 6 Nations Championship alive with a 28-18 win in Scotland.
The 24-year-old has previously been tipped as a possible Lions skipper but did not resume the captain's role as he took over from Justin Tipuric at openside flanker at Murrayfield.
Edwards, the inspirational scrum-half of the 1960s and 70s, told BBC Radio Five Live's Sportsweek programme: "I think he fully deserved the man-of-the match award.
"He had a lot of pressure on him but he delivered the goods.
"He was very physical and great in the tackle area. Lots of questions were asked - should Tipuric have been left out? - but we have the beauty of two outstanding young players.
"I thought Sam Warburton really put himself back into the frame as far as the Lions is concerned as well. He really had an outstanding match."
The Lions tour Australia this summer under the guidance of Warburton's Wales head coach Warren Gatland. Rob Howley has taken charge of Wales during the Six Nations while Gatland plans for the tour.
