Taylor: Has agreed a new deal with Gloucester

The 29-year-old has scored 168 points in 34 appearances for the club having joined from Nottingham on loan in 2010.

The former Leicester academy product, who can also play in the centres, has gone on to establish himself as a key figure in the Gloucester line-up.

And Taylor is thrilled to have his future at the club sorted out.

"I'm really happy," Taylor told the club's official site. "I've enjoyed my time with Gloucester and it's great that I've got the opportunity to stay for another couple of years.

"This season has been a bit frustrating with the thumb injury but I'm almost back and hope I can play a part in the run in.

"It's good to have some stability as I'm shortly starting a new personal training business alongside Ed Archer (formerly on the strength and conditioning staff at Gloucester). I'll be working out of the Lion's Den so I'll seeing more of Kingsholm than most of the boys!"
