Ben Youngs: 'We will come flying out of the blocks'

European heavyweights Leicester and Toulouse will go head to head on Sunday for a place in this season's Heineken Cup quarter-finals.

Pool Two has come down to a decider between two clubs with six European titles between them.

Toulouse are currently two points above their hosts, but they were beaten twice by English opposition in last season's tournament and Leicester have not lost a Heineken Cup game on home soil since Munster toppled them more than six years ago.

"We will come flying out of the blocks, and it is always easier to come out of the blocks when you are at home," Tigers' England scrum-half Ben Youngs said.

"These are the games that you want to play in as a professional. It is not very often that you get the chance to play against a side like Toulouse.

"They are a world-class side that has won the Heineken Cup and the Top 14 countless times. To have them come to Welford Road and be able to have a crack at them is exciting.

"We need to start well and play from the first whistle. We need to control the ball a bit better in their 22 as well.

"We turned it over a couple of times at the Ospreys last weekend, and we need to be more clinical and tidy up a few things."

Leicester have made poor starts in their last two games, falling well behind on the scoreboard against Aviva Premiership opponents Worcester and then Heineken Cup rivals Ospreys before recovering to collect a win and draw, respectively.

And with Toulouse unlikely to be as forgiving, Tigers know what is required in their quest to avoid making a painful pool stage exit.

"We are good enough to beat anyone at home," Leicester rugby director Richard Cockerill said.

"Toulouse are a very good side and they know how to win games, but they have not played particularly well away from home this season.

"We know they have enough class in their team to go anywhere and win, and we will be wary of that."

Cockerill has made a solitary change to the team held 15-15 by the Ospreys in Swansea last Sunday, with number eight Thomas Waldrom replacing Jordan Crane.

Centre Manu Tuilagi and hooker Tom Youngs are both named in the starting line-up, meanwhile, despite them experiencing calf muscle tightness six days ago, and Tuilagi also turning his ankle.

"This is where we wanted to be - in with a chance of topping the pool and qualifying in round six and in front of our fans," Cockerill added.

"We haven't played in this kind of game at Welford Road for a long time, and it will be a massive occasion. These are the games you want to be involved in - as a coach, a player or a fan."

Toulouse field their familiar galaxy of international talent, their formidable strength being underlined by a replacements' bench that features Maxime Medard, Yannick Jauzion, Luke Burgess and Yannick Nyanga.

Saracens, meanwhile, will progress to the last eight from Pool One on Sunday if they beat Vicarage Road visitors Edinburgh.

Saracens boss Mark McCall has made three changes from the side that posted a gripping victory over Racing Metro in Nantes last weekend, with starts for fly-half Charlie Hodgson, prop Mako Vunipola and lock George Kruis.

Owen Farrell, who kicked an astonishing 10 penalties in the Racing game, moves to centre, and wing David Strettle, who was carried off during the early stages of last Saturday's encounter, also starts.

A Saracens slip up against one of only two teams yet to collect a point in this season's Heineken Cup is unlikely, but Munster are waiting to pounce.

If they claim a bonus point win against Racing in Limerick, it should be enough to land one of two best runners-up places available in the quarter-finals.

It would, though, take them past Saracens if the Aviva Premiership club come unstuck.
