Here's a request for feedback from anyone that has attended a USA Rugby Coach Certification Course, Introducing Rugby or Developing Rugby Skills.

My personal coaching pathway included, Start Rugby Course, Preliminary, Intermediate, Full Coaching Award and Elite Coach Development program, all run by the Rugby Football Union in England. Looking forward to 2012, I have been discussing our current offerings with our Coach Development Course Leaders regarding the future direction of courses. One common comment appeared to be that if I ask 10 people for their thoughts, I would get 10 totally different answers, so lets put that to the test!

We want to support the development of our coaches and make sure we direct resources where they will have most impact. It would therefore be very helpful to hear what you think of the courses and how we could improve them.

I won't share with you my personal thoughts at this stage, I wouldn't want to sway the debate in anyway, so its over to you. Send me your feedback on your experiences, if you provide glowing support or totally trash the current courses, you must balance your comments with solutions/recommendations, otherwise it will be a bit of a waste of everyone's time!

I am gathering views from a wide variety of sources, the feedback is very useful and will help us shape the future of our courses.

Thanks in advance, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
