Lindenwood vs. Utah ValleyLindenwood showed their class against a good Utah Valley team in the first college matchup of the day. Lindenwood played a physical and structured brand of rugby and went into halftime with a 21-0 lead.

Utah Valley couldn’t stage a comeback despite a brave second half performance, and now Lindenwood will have a shot at its first national title. Tyler Black, a former USA Junior All-American, was excellent in the match leading with defense and a dynamic attacking style. Lindenwood ran away with it in the end with a final score of 57-10.

Salisbury vs. Towson

Salisbury took on rivals Towson in a very physical and wide open match that would determine the second team competing for the national title. The Sharks jumped on Towson early with two penalties from flyhalf Nick Kuhl.

An answer from Adam Brayek of Towson drew the scores close, but Salisbury started to pull away and Towson couldn’t close the gap.

Towson fought and clawed the entire game, but Salisbury was too physical and executed very well in the red zone when Towson didn't.
