    USA Rugby Announces Academic All-Americans

    USA Rugby would like to recognize rugby student-athletes who are top performers in their academics as well as major contributors for their rugby program. Any rugby player who is considered a consistent starter on their college or university’s rugby team, who is at least in their junior year and who has a cumulative grade point average (G.P.A.) of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher is eligible to be an Academic All-American.

    The USA Rugby 2012 Men’s Collegiate All-America Sevens teams have been announced. Thirty-six players were selected as First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention All-Americans by the Sevens staff, led by Tony Pacheco, head coach of the Men’s Collegiate All-American Sevens.
