    Asbun, Law Earn Blue in Oxford's 28-10 Win

    Derek Asbun started and Jason Law joined the fray as a reserve for Oxford University Thursday at Twickenham as the 2011 California co-captains became the fourth and fifth former Golden Bears to earn a Varsity Blue and Oxford defeated Cambridge, 28-10, in their 130th meeting.

    Salve Regina University Wins NorthEast Region

    For the second straight year, the Salve Regina University Men's Rugby team will be making an appearance in the NSCRO National Final Four. Salve Regina, after winning the New England Rugby Football Union Division 3 title, traveled from Newport, Rhode Island to Springfield, Massachusetts for the NSCRO NorthEast Region Championship final against Met New York D3 Champion Molloy College from Rockville Center, NY on Nov. 19.

    The stakes were high Sunday afternoon as the Franciscan University rugby team of Steubenville, Ohio took on the University of Wisconsin-Parkside (Wisconsin RFU) in the NSCRO Central Region Final at the Wisconsin Rugby Club Sports Complex. In an unrivaled display of team unity, skill and pure talent, the Barons walked away victorious, bringing home a 35-5 win.
