    Dartmouth Slugs It Out with Harvard in Cambridge

    After battling it out for 80 minutes, Dartmouth came out on top 31-21 on a beautiful fall day in Cambridge. The Big Green controlled the two teams’ first meeting in Hanover three weeks previous with a 60-0 victory, but the Crimson showed that they were much improved in an exciting match.

    The Wheeling Jesuit University Varsity Rugby team missed a major upset opportunity against the No. 18 ranked University of Maryland Terrapins. With no time remaining on the clock, the strong and more experienced Maryland side scored on a converted try to tie the score against the Cardinals 26-26.

    Big Green Take Down Crimson 60-0

    Dartmouth hosted rival Harvard on the bucolic Brophy Field to kick off the 2012-13 Ivy Rugby 15s season. It proved to be an excellent start to the season for the Big Green, who did well on both sides of the ball, shutting out the Crimson while putting up 60 points on attack.
