Lawson: Tight calf rules him out

A tight calf meant Lawson was replaced at hooker by Ross Ford - with Dougie Hall coming onto the replacements' bench - in a team showing 10 changes from Saturday's 34-24 win over Romania and with scrum-half Rory Lawson named captain.

Only Ford, Allan Jacobsen, Kelly Brown, Max Evans and Sean Lamont were retained - head coach Andy Robinson insisting the changes were due to the proximity of the matches - against a Georgia side coached by ex-Scotland boss Richie Dixon and featuring 13 players in the starting XV who ply their trade in France.
