Hogg: Focused on his domestic form

Hogg set up Federico Aramburu's decisive try in the Heineken Cup victory, which kept the Warriors in pursuit of defending European champions Leinster at the top of Pool Three ahead of Saturday's return in France.

Scotland head coach Andy Robinson was present at Firhill and will surely be considering calling on Hogg for the RBS Six Nations if he maintains his current form.

But the 19-year-old is remaining grounded over his ambitions, saying: "It's a dream to play in a Scotland jersey, so hopefully one day it will come.

"Right now I'm just happy to be in the Glasgow team and I'm really working hard on my game. I've still got plenty of time."

Hogg faces stiff competition for the No.15 shirt at the Warriors following the arrival of Scotland international Rory Lamont from Toulon.

Lamont was brought in as a full-back, but played on the wing against Montpellier, with Hogg justifying the decision with a number of searing bursts from deep.

And Hogg admitted: "It's just a case of knuckling down in training and hopefully when the team's picked my name will be on it."

As for Glasgow's Heineken Cup ambitions, Hogg is confident ahead of next week's trip to Montpellier.

He added: "We're in a great position. We're hoping to qualify, that's the target.

"It's exactly where we want to be. The mood in the camp just now is fantastic."
