Henry Slade: Will return to the Chiefs for the LV= Cup

Albion have made a strong start to the season and are just four points off the play-off places.

However Nat Saumi's side will go into Friday night's clash with London Scottish without Henry Slade, Jack Arnott, Luke Cowan-Dickie and Will Carrick-Smith.

The quartet, who all arrived at Brickfields on dual-registration terms from the Chiefs in the summer, will now head back to their parent club.

Exeter have opted to use the break from Premiership action to blood the rising stars in the LV= Cup competition - with games against London Welsh and the Ospreys coming up over the next two weekends.

Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter told the club's official site: "Guys like Ben Moon, Chris Budgen and Neil Clark are going to have opportunities to push their claim, as are some of our younger academy guys who, the reality is, we want to see in a first-team shirt, and see what they can do."
