Allan Jacobsen: End of an era

Scotland prop Allan Jacobsen has announced his retirement from international rugby.

The 34-year-old from Edinburgh has made 65 appearances for his country since making his debut in 2002.

Jacobsen, whose final cap came against New Zealand on 11 November, has quit the international scene for "personal reasons".

Known as 'Chunk', he is Scotland's most capped prop and was unavailable for last Saturday's game against South Africa.
