The Academy Week is being played at the University of Johannesburg and after the week an South African Academy side will be chosen to play at Craven Week.
As with all SARU schools tournaments a quota system applies. The Academy teams, each of 22 players, will have an 11-11 quote and during a match there must at all times be at least eight players of colour. All players must complete a full match by the end of the second day of play.
