Springbok hooker Gary Botha is in line to be unveiled as the Blue Bulls captain for the upcoming Currie Cup that kicks off this weekend.
Botha will have a tough first task as the Bulls skipper this weekend according to Beeld, when he tackles the defending champion Sharks in Durban.
The Sharks also have a new captain in the form of tear away flank Keegan Daniel, who rarely backs down from a challenge.
The Bulls are without 16 of their regular stars due to both national call-ups and some untimely injuries, which will make team selection a difficult task for their new Currie Cup coach Pine Pienaar.
Pienaar is expected to announce hie team for the first match on Wednesday.
