Griquas have caused a massive upset in the Currie Cup by beating the defending champions, the Sharks, 43-22 in Kimberley thanks to a sublime kicking display by fullback Rudi Vogt.

Griquas were a tough committed unit throughout the game and secured a bonus point when capitalisig on every Sharks error and scoring four tries.

The star of the show was Vogt, who kicked all nine of his attempts at goal, scoring 23 points on his own and punishing the sharks for their ill-discipline.
