Livewire scrumhalf Jano Vermaak has played his last game for the Golden Lions and will be available to play for the Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup with immediate effect.
Vermaak recently signed a two-year contract to play for the Blue Bulls and was under contract with the Golden Lions till the end of October, but after coach John Mitchell made it clear that he was not interested in his services by promptly dropping him from the starting line-up he made the move earlier than planned.
This means that after leaving the team curently on top of the Currie Cup standings Vermaak will be available for selection for the bottom-of-the-table clash between the Blue Bulls and the Pumas in Nelspruit on Friday night.
