Henson set for shock Ospreys return

Gavin Henson wants to play for the Ospreys again.

The bad-boy midfielder left the Welsh outfit in controversial circumstances last October after an 18-month sabbatical, during which he spent more time appearing on reality TV shows, to join Premiership side Saracens, before linking up with cashed-up French club Toulon.

However, his short-term contract in the south of France was not renewed after he had a bust-up with teammates and now he wants to return to the club that gave him his first break after the Rugby World Cup to be closer to his children.

"I want to come back to Wales because of my kids," the 29-year-old told Blokely magazine.

"I'm just waiting to see what happens with the Welsh rugby, how I get on and whether I go to the World Cup or not. As soon as that comes to an end, whether that's soon or after the World Cup, I will get employment. Hopefully that will be the Ospreys if they will have me back, but I will have to wait and see."

Henson, who will star in the UK version of The Bachelor, is currently a member of Wales' preliminary WC squad.
