Fans at the Tri-Nations Test between South Africa and Australia in Durban on Saturday can rest assured that there will be plenty of alcoholic refreshments on offer.
It was reported that fans who have paid up to ZAR4,000 for hospitality tickets for this weekend's Tri-Nations match in Durban may find empty bars in their suites, unless an urgent licence application by the Kings Park stadium management is approved.
The Mercy newspaper suggested Only two suites, One Stop and Coyote SuperSuite, are licensed to provide full hospitality.
According to the report liquor licences held by others at the stadium do not permit them to sell alcohol.
However, the KwaZulu-Natal Rugby Union dismissed this suggestion.
"The stadium is fully compliant with all liquor laws and no hospitality providers will be selling alcohol without a valid liquor license," the union said in statement.
"We conclude with the reassurance to those fans attending the big game that it is a case of 'Business as Usual' at Kings Park on Saturday."
