Hoërskool Outeniqua are the Kwaggas, Hoërskool Oudtshoorn the Struisies. When they have the fun of their annual meeting it's Kwaggadag in George and Struisiesdag in Oudtshoorn. This year it is in George and an FNB Classic Clash. It will be fun and all the signs are that it will be a good contest.

Results against common opponents

Langenhoven Gim: Outeniqua won 20-3, Oudtshoorn 34-22
Punt: Outeniqua lost 25-15; Oudtshoorn won 32-30
Oakdale: Outeniqua won 23-13; Oudtshoorn lost 27-18

Nothing much in that.

In general Outeniqua, who are not as strong this year as they usually are, play stronger opposition, including Paarl Gim (won), Monnas (lost), Glenwood (won), Paarl Boys' High (lost), Boland Landbou (won), Noord-Kaap (lost), Daniël Pienaar (won) and HTS Middelburg (lost).

Oudtshoorn tended to play closer to home.

At one stage Outeniqua were on the FNB Top 20 before slipping off; Oudtshoorn have not been on.

Provincial representation

Both schools play in the South Western Districts.
