SA Schools won in Port Elizabeth, Grey College won in a points' extravaganza in Stellenbosch and there were FNB Classic Clashes in East London and Oudtshoorn as well as Stellenbosch. In Newlands there was a massive turnaround when SACS played Bishops.
When the two teams met at Bishops in what is probably South Africa's oldest game, Bishops won 68-27. They were leading 13-0 at half-time in this match when SACS - and the wind - turned it around, for their first win against one of the Southern Suburbs big three since 2008.
In the north there are semifinals in the Beeld Trophy and in the south semifinals of Die Burger. In the south it is a time for many Interschool clashes.
