Romania have announced their squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup, their seventh participation in the World Cup. They have appointed the tough Perpignan hooker, Marius Tincu, to lead the side. Cristian Petre is his vice-captain.

Romania are in Pool B with Scotland, England, Argentina and Georgia. They will find all opposition stiff as even Georgia have the better of them these days.

Recently Romania beat Ukraine 41-16 in a European Nations Cup match and they are to get another chance to warm-up with a match against Périgueux.
