There will be extra cover for the Lions' forwards when they take on the Sharks in a Currie Cup crunch match in Johannesburg on Saturday, coach John Mitchell revealed on Wednesday.
The Currie Cup log leaders included five forwards and two backline specialists in their list of replacements for the match with most of the focus expected to be on centre Doppies La Grange.
La Grange returns after a prolonged hamstring injury, which he picked up during the team's second round victory against Griquas.
Lock Wikus van Heerden is also back in the team after he withdrew from their previous match against Western Province at the last minute.
