Griquas bring back two stars

Rudi Vogt, a real match-winner with his goal-kicking in recent weeks, has recovered from illness and returns to the Griquas starting XV in one of two changes to the backline to face the Free State Cheetahs in Kimberley on Saturday.

Vogt comes into the side to replace last weekend's fullback Monty Dumond.

At centre Barry Geel replaces Matt Rosslee.

In the only change up front loosehead prop Ivan Espag starts in place of Jean Botha, who received a knock to the head and a neck injury last weekend against the Blue Bulls.

Injured Riaan Viljoen, on the wing again, has been bracketed with Wilmaure Louw - who in turn is bracket on the bench with Dumond, should Louw be called upon to replace Viljoen.

Griquas coach Abré Minnie has succeeded in obtaining the services of Griffons prop Kevin Stevens, who will cover for the injury to loosehead Jean Botha - who is replaced by Espag in the starting line-up

Rosslee's place on the bench will be taken by Dumond if the former cannot play.
