Tygerberg beat Brackenfell 61-12 in their FNB Classic Clash played in Parow on Saturday.
Brackenfell started well enough and half way through the first half were leading 12-5 but then the home side's pack took over and set their greedy packs hunting for points. Tygerberg scored 10 tries to two.
Tygerberg opened the scoring in the first minute when hooker Etienne BeselaaR scored. After that Tygerberg stayed on the attack and only determined defence kept them out, and the Brakke did even better than that, for they scored.
Centre Jason Barrish intercepted and sent Keaton Timmy racing some 40 metres to score. Outside centre Keanan Botes raced oven further, from well inside his own half, to score the second try.
The the Tiere settled down to win the match. Lock Meyer Ferreira, wing Nicol Jansen and star centre Justin Geduld got tries to give the home side a 24-12 lead at half time.
