Boks edge out fiery Welsh

In a very tightly contested match the Springboks held onto a 17-16 victory against a fiery Welsh side to get their World Cup campaign off to a winning start, albeit only just.

The Springboks started brilliantly with a try early on, but a young Welsh side completely disregarded the Boks' world champions side and almost stole an unexpected win.

A late fight back by South Africa's strong bench did the trick to claw the team back into the lead after a shock looked to be on the cards.
