Strauss double sink Scots

Hooker and vice-captain Adriaan Strauss scored two tries as South Africa beat Scotland 21-10 in a dour arm-wrestle at Murrayfield on Saturday.

The win, which was the Springboks' second on their year-end tour and keeps them entrenched in second place on the IRB world rankings, was based mainly on the visitors' dominance up front.

Strauss scored the first try at the end of the first quarter, following a powerful Bok maul, and the second after he intercepted a pass to run 50 metres for a score that sealed the Boks' win.
