The Brumbies scored four first-half tries to cruise to a comfortable 29-10 victory over the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.
The win sees the unbeaten Brumbies keep their spot at the top of the Super Rugby standings, whilst the Sharks were left to contemplate their first defeat.
The Brumbies started with real intent and pinned the Sharks back in their 22 before quick hands saw fullback Jesse Mogg go over in the corner for the opening try.
It was not long before the visitors had crossed the whitewash again, with another convincing build-up putting left wing Joe Tomane over in the other corner.
The Sharks got on the scoreboard when Pat Lambie slotted a penalty, but the Brumbies hit back straight away with their third try, which was scored by flyhalf Matt Toomua to give them a 19-3 lead.
The visitors had the bonus point wrapped up before half-time when a tighthead scrum resulted in Henry Speight diving over in the corner.
The Sharks responded early in the second half when Ryan Kankowski got over for their first try in three matches, but the wet conditions made things tough for the home side and the Brumbies held on for a convincing victory.
