South African flank Pedrie Wannenburg has signed a two-year deal with Castres, the Top 14 club announced Thursday.

The 31-year-old Wannenburg, formerly of the Bulls, was in the Ulster side which recently lost in the Final of the European Cup to fellow Irish side Leinster.

Wannenburg joined Ulster in 2010 from the Bulls.

He will join compatriots Rory Kockott, Jan Bornman, Michael Coetzee and Antonie Claassen, who has recently signed from Brive, at the south-west side.

* Meanwhile Fijian international centre Seru Rabeni has signed for Mont-de-Marsan from French second division side La Rochelle.

Mont-de-Marsan recently won promotion to the French Top 14 championship and the 33-year-old Rabeni, formerly of Otago in New Zealand and Leicester and Leeds in England, is expected to add power and punch to the south-west side.

Rabeni is Mont-de-Marsan's second signing after Arnaud Pic, the scrumhalf who signed from Oyonnax.
