The title completed a remarkable turnaround for the London club. It was three years ago that they were reeling from the Bloodgate fall-out where Tom Williams was caught faking a blood injury to get Nick Evans back on the field. And it was largely on the back of the two players involved in the bloodgate incident. Tom Williams scored a try while Evans kicked for 20 points in the final.
