St Patrick’s Day is without a doubt one of the best holidays of the year.  It may be under-appreciated by many but it gives those looking for a fun time a great excuse.  And the World Rugby Shop.com can help you get ready for the holiday with some cool gear from Guinness, Ireland rugby gear, as well as the Gilbert Shamrock Range.

Make sure you have your new t-shirt or rugby jersey in time for the holiday on March 17 but ordering today.

And the holiday has its connections to the game of rugby.  The St. Patrick's Day Test is an international rugby league tournament between the USA and Ireland.   The event was first held in 1995.  Ireland won the first two matches but the Red, White and Blue have won the last four in 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2004.   The game is held around the March 17 date.

And to celebrate the game of rugby in the U.S. and St. Patrick’s Day Canterbury of New Zealand has designed this cool green look for USA Rugby.  This item won’t be around for long so jump on it now.

In the UK, Leinster Schools Rugby Senior Cup, Munster Schools Rugby Senior Cup and Ulster Schools Senior Cup are held on Saint Patrick's Day. The Connacht Schools Rugby Senior Cup is held on the weekend before Saint Patrick's Day.

Cheers to St Patrick and the festivities of your rugby club.
