Edmonds blow for Brumbies

The Brumbies have suffered a blow ahead of their Super 14 clash with the Chiefs on Friday with hooker Huia Edmonds fracturing his right forearm during training.

Edmonds suffered the fracture during a contact session on Monday morning with x-rays confirming he would require surgery and is expected to miss the remainder of the Super 14 season.

Edmonds has been an influential figure for the Brumbies this season, especially off the bench, and his absence will be a major setback for the injury-ravaged Brumbies.
