Leeds announce more departures

Wackett: Among those being released

Gareth Hardy, Adrian Jarvis, Christian Lewis-Pratt, Semi Tadulala and Pete Wackett are the latest players to leave.

Australian prop Hardy had held initial talks over a new deal but has opted to now leave, while cross-code convert Tadulala had 12 months left on his current deal to run but looks set for a return to rugby league.

Adrian Jarvis only joined the club on a short-term deal, while youngsters Christian Lewis-Pratt and Pete Wackett, who scored a try in the final game against Northampton, are also on the look for new employers.

The quintet are the latest players to exit Headingley, with Daniel Browne , Juan Gomez, Leigh Hinton, Henry Fa'afili, Alex Black, Warren Fury and Jesus Moreno-Rodriguez all released and Steve Thompson, Marco Wentzel (both Wasps), Hendre Fourie, Kearnan Myall, Scott Mathie, Luther Burrell (all Sale), Ceiron Thomas (Cornish Pirates), Alfie To'oala (La Rochelle) and James Craig (Northampton ) moving to new clubs.

New coach Diccon Edwards has promoted Dominic Barrow, Richard Beck, Joe Barker, Harry Hannan, Ollie Richards, Chris Walker, Cameron Zeiss and Curtis Wilson from the club's academy, though, while Miguel Alonso, Scott Barrow, Lee Blackett, Tom Denton, Gareth Denman, Scott Freer, Sean Hohneck, Lachlan MacKay, Rhys Oakley, Michael Stephenson, Phil Swainston and James Tincknell remain under contract.

Mike MacDonald, Craig Hampson, Phil Nilsen, Jon Pendlebury, Jacob Rowan and Dan White have joined new skipper Andy Titterrell in signing new deals, while Joe Ford has returned to the club from Northampton.
