Robson: Commits to Gloucester

The Academy prospects have both featured in the Cherry and Whites' first team this season, and are regulars in the A League side.

Robson has also played for Hartpury RFC in National League Division Two South and will shortly be linking up with the England U20 squad for the Six Nations campaign, in addition to featuring in the Junior World Cup last summer.

Evans, a No 8 by trade, has also impressed during his time at Kingsholm, and Academy Manager Mark Cornwell said that the new contracts are down to the hard work that the pair have put in.

"Dan and Gareth have both come on leaps and bounds in their time here at Gloucester," he said.

"They've both got talent but have also applied themselves and this is reflected in their development.

"They've both had a taste of first team action and the challenge now is for them to carry on working hard and force their way into the senior matchday squad on a regular basis.

"I'm really pleased for them both and hopefully they'll have a big future with Gloucester Rugby."
