Bath to unleash the Fury

Bath have signed Welsh international scrumhalf Warren Fury on a three month short-term deal.

A very strong and technically sound player, Fury, who has earned two caps for Wales, joins the Bath as injury cover.

The scrumhalf started his career at Wasps before going on to play for London Irish and Leeds Carnegie.

Director of rugby, Sir Ian McGeechan, said: "With Mark McMillan suffering a relatively long term knee injury, we felt we needed to bring in another scrumhalf to give us a bit more depth.

"Warren has fitted in very well in his short time here so far, and will be a good asset to the squad going forward."

Fury may find it difficult to fight his way into the starting XV, with Springbok scrumhalf Michael Claassens occupying the No.9 jersey.
