Ospreys head coach Sean Holley believes his side can't dwell on back-to-back defeats by Saracens but must look forward and focus on the final two pool games in the Heineken Cup.
The Welsh region find themselves in third position in pool 5, with just a solitary victory to their name.
They kicked off the competition in style back in November beating Biarritz Olympique but were then held to a draw the following weekend away to Benetton Treviso.
Two defeats to English Champions Saracens in December left them with work to do but Holley is not giving up just yet.
"We're all still smarting from the defeats to Saracens especially the one at home," he said.
"We prided ourselves on our great record there. But we can't dwell on those defeats and just have to look at the next two games.
"We've talked about taking as much as we can from those two games, make a good account of ourselves and at least put ourselves in a position where if the permutations work out we can go through and if not at least be in the best position to achieve an Amlin place.
"There's still plenty to play for and pride is obviously the bottom line.
"Our reputation is at stake in Europe and we want to get as many ranking points as we can because the draw is important moving forward in this competition.
"We're looking for a real performance and a home performance which usually brings about a win. We need to build what we can first. It would be silly to say we want the bonus-point because you only have to look at our try column this year. We can't make those statements. We have to build as much as we can. Hopefully we will get the territory and possession to get over the line enough times."
