Gary Gold was wary of getting carried away after Bath's 32-9 win over Worcester in the Aviva Premiership meant five victories on the bounce.
Ahead of next week's game with London Irish at the Recreation ground, which could see his side break into the top six, Gold was trying to remain grounded.
He said: "We've not achieved anything yet. They're going to be a tough challenge as well.
"They had a similar result against Worcester a few weeks ago and seem to be doing well now. It's going to become a real dogfight for us to try to edge up the table.
"We've just got continue doing what we're doing. Whatever else is happening in the table, we can't do anything about that. We'll just stick to the task and carry on."
Bath struggled in the first half to wrest control from the Worcester pack but after the break, two high-quality passes by Kyle Eastmond broke the deadlock, creating tries for Tom Biggs and Horacio Agulla.
The other tries went to Peter Stringer, Rob Webber and a second for Agulla.
Gold was suitably impressed by Eastmond's performance in a playmaker role at inside centre.
"He's outstanding. We need the ball in Kyle's hands. He's a prodigious talent, passes off both hands.
"If he needs to kick, he can kick. We have to do the work to put him in the right positions."
Worcester head coach Richard Hill revealed that his side's preparations had been disrupted by his a gastric bug in the camp which led to fly-half Andy Goode being ruled out minutes before the kick-off.
His deputy, Danny Gray, was similarly stricken but put on a brave display and managed to kick three penalties.
Hill said: "We're disappointed, because a lot of effort went in, for the 60 minutes certainly.
"In the first 40 we took the sting out of Bath really. We had good pressure at the start of the second half, a driving line-out and the scrum.
"We had six or seven minutes of real effort there and if we had scored we'd have gone into the lead.
"Not only did we not get over but we conceded a penalty - and that was a killer blow and it knocked the stuffing out of everybody."
Hill added: "A win down here would really have put us in touch with the top six.
"But it's going to be pretty tough now. We have a lot of targets we've set ourselves in the next few games - we've just got to crack on and do it."
