Yachvili initially suffered a thigh injury in the World Cup quarter-final victory England - with the 31-year-old aggravating the problem in the 28-21 defeat to the Ospreys.
And following scans on Monday, Yachvili is now facing a fortnight on the sidelines.
"He complained of pain at half-time and during the second half - every time he kicked he felt like he was punch in the leg," said Biarritz coach Patrice Lagisquet.
Yachvili will now miss the showdown with Saracens as well as the Top 14 clash with Racing-Metro.
