London Wasps celebrated their 100th European game in style, beating Bayonne convincingly 25-11 at home to move top of their Challenge Cup pool.
The hosts got off to a flying start and never looked back as they attacked with fluency and control from the kick-off.
Captain Joe Hart nearly crashed over in the first minute but was held up over the line but it took just a minute more for Dai Young's side to record their first try, flank Sam Jones touching down.
Nicky Robinson added the extras for the hosts and then kicked a 17th minute penalty to stretch the former European Champions' lead.
Benjamin Boyet opened Bayonne's account with a penalty two minutes later, before Robinson slotted over his second.
Wasps controlled the territory for long phases but lost centre Riki Flutey to the sin-bin after he was penalised at a ruck and Boyet kicked the resulting penalty to double Bayonne's score.
In their first threatening attack of the half, Sione Lauaki picked up from the base of the scrum for Bayonne and powered over from close range to score two minutes from the break. Boyet couldn't add the extras from out wide, leaving Wasps in the lead at the interval.
A huge penalty kick from Elliot Daly followed by six points from the boot from Robinson stretched Wasps advantage once again as they dominated the third quarter.
